Osceola County, FL vacation rental rules and taxes

Osceola County’s 6% tourist tax is filed with the Tax Collector, and the county isn’t contracted with Airbnb, VRBO, or any platform, so you file it yourself. State sales tax is 7.5% (6% plus the 1.5% surtax). Short-term rentals are allowed only in designated vacation-home zoning inside the county’s and Kissimmee’s short-term rental overlays.
