Florida county rules
Lake County, FL vacation rental rules and taxes
Lake County’s 4% tourist tax applies to stays of six months or less, on top of 7% state sales tax; Airbnb collects it on its bookings. The unincorporated county has no vacation rental rules, but Clermont and Minneola require yearly permits, and Leesburg limits short-term rentals by zoning.
