Florida county rules
Duval County, FL vacation rental rules and taxes
Duval County’s 6% tourist tax brings the total tax on rentals of six months or less to 13.5%. The county has no agreement with any platform, so you file the tourist tax yourself every month, even for Airbnb bookings. Jacksonville has no vacation rental rules; Jacksonville Beach requires a certificate, and Atlantic Beach and Neptune Beach ban short stays in residential zoning.
